我把讲的内容听写出来了,可能个别地方不对,不过大差不差,不能听能看的先看着,有谁有空翻译一下也行。我翻译不行,呵呵
Vibrato, a shaking of the arm and hand as a lot of warmth to your playing. Basicaly, vibrato is playing a note in tune and then rolling the finger slightly flat. To do it successfully, you have to have what's called two point contact. Let's look at this out close. There are three types of vibrato, there's a finger vibrato, there's a wrist vibrato, and then an arm vibrato which is preferred by blue grass players. Standard fiddle playing calls for a vibrato 3 point contact. The first knuckle touching the side neck, the thumb coming around and position itself is on the opposite of the side, and then the finger crawls around it pushes down on the string, one, two, three. If you hold the violin like that, it's ok to play notes, but it's very difficult to vibrato. You need to do a two point contact where is just the thumb preferbely on the bottom, and the finger freeing up the side of the hand where the knockle is to allow to move back and forth, creating the vibrato.
On Page 40 of Fiddle Volume One, on the exercise it has an F sharp note playing with the second finger. I'll play the note and tune, and then push my arm away slightly, you see that? And what that does it causes the second finger to roll back and go out of tune. Now it is slow like that, doesn't sound like a whole out, then little more speed sounds really nice. Look, I'm not doing this, I'm not bending the wrist up and down. I'm keeping the wrist and the arm rather straight but pushing my hand away from me. Doing a nice arm vibrato making it really warm.
The hardest part probably I would consider in vibrato is coordinating the bow stroke with the vibrato. Try first without using the bow. Just practice, say as an F sharp note or C sharp or G note, moving your hand away and back, away and back. Be careful not to flop that wrist, keep that from doing that, keep it rather straight.
You may wanna try some exercises as well. You just hold your arm in front of you, push it away and back, away and back, see how I keep that and study? That's the motion, you gotta get that feel of going back and forth. The note is in tune, then flat, then tune, then flat, just like that.
